On the way to finding his own purpose in life by ticking off his 100 Things list, Sebastian Terry says he’s found a ton of ways people help others in an organic way. And that’s exactly what you’ll see in the latest episode of his go90-exclusive show.

“I believe we actually have an innate sense of wanting to help others, that we’re willing to even sacrifice something in our lives to support others,” he says. “Here’s a great story that shows that. Michelle, one half of a very tight married couple, had kidney failure and she was on dialysis, on a waiting list for a new kidney. Her partner Ty was one of the few who could donate a kidney to her, and he did. She had the transplant and is doing really well.”

“But she wanted to say thanks to him in some magnificent way. Understanding that he had a major fascination with nature and with volcanoes, she reached out to us. I so wanted to get involved, using my own developing network. So behind Ty’s back, we organized an itinerary with Michelle around the Big Island. We took them up in a helicopter and buzzed a live volcano. It was totally awesome, just getting so close to this kind of living thing. The time we spent together, led to a mutual appreciation episode. I mean, it was exciting and exhilarating but bottom line, she was proclaiming to her partner, ‘Look, you saved my life, I want to say thank you, that I love you.’ As they say, ‘All you need is love.’ ”
