The Xten office chair was designed by Pininfarina, the same people who thought up the ridiculous pants-creaming features outfitted on Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis the world over.
The initial ergonomic design for this line of chairs was commissioned at a cost of $1.5 million dollars. And although there are more expensive chairs in the world (made of gold and other unnecessary garbage) they can't compete with the critically acclaimed success for comfort that the Xten provides.
Just look at these friggin' things. They look like they belong in a Ferrari. Not to be confused with those faux-racecar style seats that your Xbox controllers hook up to in your dorm room. The Xtens are the real deal.
I won't bore you with the specifics, but the secret lies in the patented Technogel material that allows your ass to feel like it's 60% less tired, whatever that means. Pressure and 'glute fatigue' are both minimized with this design. The headrest posts, arms, and base of the chair are all made out of 100% aluminum. Compare that to some Walmart chair made out of the cheapest plastic China has to offer.
A starting model in Ferrari Red or Maserati Blue colors starts at $3,000 and does not include shipping costs. And, as it should be, those living in Hawaii, Canada, and Alaska are going to have to get some fancy private quotes for shipping rates to your strange and exotic locales. Suckers.
