You don’t want all of those food to get lonely in your stomach; you need to liven things up with a healthy infusion of delicious alcohol. Turkey Day is full of rich and delcious flavors, and these drinks are no different. These Thanksgiving cocktails you’ll be thankful for will leave you feeling warm and happy long after the pie is gone and the leftovers are wrapped.

The perfect drink to celebrate another successful year of stuffing yourself to capacity, or beyond. The blend of vermouth and brandy goes down a smooth as a buttery roll.


  • 3/4 oz apricot brandy
  • 3/4 oz dry vermouth
  • 3/4 oz gin
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cherry


  1. Shake all liquids in a shaker with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass
  3. Garnish with a cherry

Right around the fall, the heavy flavors start coming into play. In the middle of summer you’re drinking clear spirits mixed all kinds of fruity ways, but come Thanksgiving, it’s time for the creams and the spices to shine. This Thanksgiving cocktail is a perfect example, and is sure to satisfy.


  • 1 oz. Irish Cream
  • 1 oz. coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz. butterscotch schnapps
  • 4 oz. chilled milk


  1. Pour the alcohol into a shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake quickly.
  3. Strain into a highball glass.
  4. Top with milk.

Ah, egg nog. We only get about thirty sweet noggy days a year, then the government packs it away again. Probably because it’s got enough fat to kill even the healthiest person, but that’s why it’s so delicious, right? Use it to make this delicious Thanksgiving cocktail.


  • 1 Cup Egg nog
  • 1 oz. light Rum
  • 1 oz. coffee liqueur
  • Nutmeg to garnish


  1. Shake the liquids with ice.
  2. Strain into a snifter.
  3. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Hot Cinnamon Roll. Aside from turkey, gravy, and potatoes, the main thing people care about at Thanksgiving is dessert. The delicious pies and cookies crush “No Carb” diets, so just in case you’re trying to watch your caloric intake this year (WHY?!), try this sweet Thanksgiving cocktail instead.


  • 1 and 1/2 oz. of cinnamon schnapps
  • 1 cup of hot apple cider
  • Whipped Cream
  • Cinnamon


  1. Combine cider and shcnapps in a large mug
  2. Top with whipped cream.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
