Jerry Stahl has written eight books, including the memoir, Permanent Midnight, which was made into a movie with Ben Stiller, and the novels I, Fatty (optioned by Johnny Depp) and Bad Sex On Speed. His latest, Happy Mutant Baby Pills, came out in November 2013. Stahl's fiction and journalism have appeared in Esquire, Playboy, The Believer and Details, among other places. He has written extensively for film and television, and most recently co-wrote the HBO film Hemingway & Gellhorn. He also appears in this tiny movie directed by Larry Charles.
