Loren-Paul Caplin teaches screenwriting at Columbia, NYU and The New School. His feature film, The Lucky Ones, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and his short film, The History of the World in 8 Minutes, premiered at the New Directors/New Films Festival at MoMA. He has written numerous screenplays, plays and musicals, including The Presidents (co-written with Ron Nessen), which ran on PBS and had a national tour. His poems have appeared in The Paris Review and Rolling Stone, and he has given seminars on Mythology and the Hero’s Journey as it pertains to writers and artists.
