After leaving the Big Brother house, she did photoshoots for Nuts magazine, the Daily Star, More magazine, Now, Reveal, Love It and The Sunday Express. She wrote an article for The Guardian on her trip to Glastonbury with the TV critic, Charlie Brooker.
She appeared on T4, The Gadget Show, Deadline, Sky News, Big Brother's Big Mouth, Test the Nation and Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe.
In 2008, she launched her signature clothing range, "Unique by Aisleyne", the first batch of which sold out within weeks.
In March 2008, her fly-on-the-wall documentary series, "Aisleyne" debuted on satellite channel, RED TV.
Aisleyne is a patron of the charity Brain Tumour UK and is UK ambassador for the Club4Climate initiative.
In late April 2008, Mainstream Publishing Ltd announced they had bought rights to Aisleyne's autobiography for a "high five-figure sum". The book, titled 'Aisleyne: Surviving Guns, Gangs and Glamour' is was published on May 7, 2009. It was also published in Australia and New Zealand on June 15 and Canada, Germany and Japan on September 14. Publication in the USA is also planned soon.
During Tyson's return visit to the UK in May 2008, Aisleyne was again photographed with him during his time in London, and press reports said she had attended a night club with him. She is also a good friend of singer Amy Winehouse, and has been snapped on nights out with the Grammy award-winner, as well as attending her 25th birthday party in September 2008.
Aisleyne played herself and a zombie version of herself in Brooker's E4 drama series, 'Dead Set', broadcast in October 2008.
Aisleyne attended the 2008 Urban Music Awards at London's Indigo2 arena on November 15, accepting the Best Neo Soul Act award for Amy Winehouse on her friend's behalf. Violence erupted later in the evening, causing the ceremony to be abandoned. Aisleyne did not witness the incident and escaped unharmed.
Press reports in January 2009 claimed that Tyson had proposed to Aisleyne via email from New York. Aisleyne was said to be considering her response, but regarded Tyson as a friend.
In March 2009 Aisleyne appeared on the BBC3 'makeunder' show, "Snog, Marry, Avoid?" and on March 11 she will once again be promoting No Smoking Day for which she undertook a promotional photoshoot in February.

Aisleyne underwent a further breast augmentation procedure in May 2009. She unveiled her upgraded assets in ZOO magazine in an exclusive shoot published in August 2009.
After the announcement by Channel 4 in 2009 that next year's 11th series of Big Brother would be the last on that channel, Aisleyne appeared on both Sky News and BBC News to talk about the situation. She argued that the show should continue with a new format and new production team, and later wrote on her blog that TV viewers should select housemates before the series begins.
