April Jeanette Mendez (born March 19, 1987) is a professional wrestler, currently working as a Diva for the WWE under the ring name, A.J., on their SmackDown brand, as well as their internet series, WWE NXT.
Before working for the WWE, A.J. worked for WSU (Women Superstars Uncensored) from 2008-2009, where she is a one time WSU Tag Team Champion (with Brooke Carter) and also won the WSU/NWS King and Queen of the Ring 2009 with Jay Lethal.
In WWE's training facility, FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling), A.J. was a one time FCW Divas Champion and one time Queen of FCW. A.J. made her WWE debut on September 7, 2010 on WWE NXT.
