Alana De La Garza Life story
She was born in Columbus, Ohio to a Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. Her family relocated to Texas when she was a little girl. At age 13 she won the title of Miss Photogenic in the Miss Teen El Paso Beauty Pageant, a crown that she defends to this day.
After graduating from the University of Texas she moved to Orlando and began acting. Once she had the bug, it was off to New York to study her craft. She landed the role of “Rosa Santos” on the soap opera "All My Children" then settled in Los Angeles where she put together a string of guest spots on prime time television.
She became a series regular on a show called "The Mountain," which if you don't remember, aired for 12 episodes on a network that no longer exists. She resurfaced as a hot alien from Krypton on an episode of "Smallville" opposite the always beautiful Kristin Kreuk and she had a reoccurring role on "CSI: Miami." She finally landed on "Law & Order," where she plays “Connie Rubirosa,” the unrealistically hot Assistant D.A. In 2008, she became the new face of Garnier Nutritioniste cosmetics.
Alana married writer Michael Roberts in Orlando, Florida on May 31, 2008.
