Alexandra Sim-Wise is a red-haired UK glamour model and winner of the Playboy UK Cyber Girl of the Year 2006 competition. Alex was born and brought up in Coventry and started modelling after winning the FHM 'Student of the Year' competition in 2004, representing the University of East Anglia as their 'Student of the Month' in FHM's January 2004 issue. Alex graduated in 2004 with a 2:1 degree in Film and American Studies from the University of East Anglia. She was also a representative for Playboy On Campus, and Captain of the University's cheerleading squad, the UEA Angels.
Since then, Alex has modelled for Playboy Special Editions, Mystique, Agent Provocateur, and many of the UK Lad's mags. Alex also appeared for a brief period as a Page 3 Girl for the Daily Star, making her debut in August 2005, and in 2006 won the 'Cover Girl' competition for the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, and has had regular features in that paper since then. In January 2007, Alex announced that she is to have her own column writing for Front.
Alex is known for her off-beat sense of humour and her popular MySpace page attracts over 20,000 hits a month. In 2007, Alex was featured in an ITV2 documentary called Generation Xcess, which followed a group of models on various nights out in the West End. In coverage for the show she was quoted as saying that the model party lifestyle wasn't really her scene and that she was "more of a rock chick that went to gigs".
Alex appears regularly on Nuts TV and announced in early 2008 that she is to have her own show on Sumo TV (Sky Channel 144). She has a small featured role in the upcoming Jason Statham movie The Bank Job, released February 2008. She has also filmed a small part in the forthcoming Guy Ritchie movie RocknRolla. Alex starred in an internet viral commercial for the THQ video game Juiced.
