I hate pretty-looking boys. I'd rather have a guy with a potbelly than one who's in the gym all the time and watches what he eats.

Introduction

Ali Larter has been in the minds of many guys ever since we saw her in Varsity Blues covered in whip cream. Today she stars in the NBC hit Heroes, where she, as of this entry, has not been covered in whip cream.

Life Story

Ali was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. At 14, she began modeling for Ford Models, and traveled the world, modeling. In 1995, she moved to Los Angeles, and began taking acting classes. In November 1996, Larter portrayed the hoax model Allegra Coleman in Esquire magazine. The article published in the magazine told of the fictional model's relationship with David Schwimmer, how Quentin Tarantino broke up with Mira Sorvino to date her, and Woody Allen's overhaul of a film to have her star. Even after the hoax had been revealed, its effects lingered, and various talent agencies sought to represent the non-existent Coleman. In 1997 Ali appeared in one episode of the sitcom Suddenly Susan, with Brooke Shields.

Ali's film career launched in the 1999 film Varsity Blues where, in a famous scene, she attempted to seduce James Vanderbeek. Unbelievably he did not accept her offer of intercourse, completely obliterating any previous credibility earned by the film and it's script. From there her star began to rise and she starred in the box office success, Final Destination, and followed that with a supporting role as the murder suspect in Reese Witherspoon's even more successful vehicle, Legally Blonde.

But that only translated into parts in movies with mixed records at the box office, such as Final destination 2. Then Ali's career got a jump start when she was cast in Heroes on NBC, with fellow hot chick, Hayden Panettiere. While the show tailed off after its wildly successful first season, it raised Ali's profile. She was also ranked #6 in Maxim Magazines Hot 100 of 2007 list and #92 on their 2008 list. In 2009, she is an appearing as the stalker office temp in Obsessed starring Beyoncé Knowles.

At the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Ali won along with co-star Beyonce Knowles the awrd for Best Fight.
