She is best known for co-hosting BBC food programme Something for the Weekend, along with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, is the presenter and co-producer of UKTV's The Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses, "Teen Detox", and "The Last Resort".

Amanda Hill is a Scottish nutritionist, businesswoman and television presenter. She is best known for co-hosting BBC food programme Something for the Weekend, along with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, is the presenter and co-producer of UKTV's The Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses, "Teen Detox", and "The Last Resort". She is also a regular presenter on GMTV as the channel's expert nutritionist, and presenter of the highly successful "Inch Loss", "Bikini Diet", and "Little Black Dress" diet campaigns on the channel.

In 2007, Amanda founded Amanda Hamilton Ltd which organises detox, weight loss and fertility retreats in the UK, Europe, UAE. She plans to open a new franchise in India later this year. She works closely with fellow nutritionist, Karen Devine, and therapists Sue Woodd, Richard Jacobs, Pilates specialist Ben Brown, and others.

In February 2009, Amanda launched a new home-based "LifeChanging Weight Loss Programme", and home-based "LifeChanging Fertility Programme". Amanda writes extensively in the press, and has authored two books - 'Life Detox,' and 'Life Changing Weight Loss.' In 2004 she gave birth to a daughter, Jana Grace. She was married on 13 December 2008 to Crawfurd Hill. Co-presenter Tim Lovejoy confirmed on Twitter on 11 July 2009 that Amanda had given birth to her second child Ruaridh, weighing 7lbs 3 oz. She grew up in Balerno, Edinburgh.
