Asides from doing the weather forecast gig, The Bay Village, Ohio native also has occasionally reports on entertainment, breaking news, or any number of assignments for Fox 11 and My 13 News. She also ran her own blog for My Fox 11 in Los Angeles, which you can find the link for below. She writes pretty well. But she's no Julia Allison, Emily Gould or Elizabeth Spiers.

Relationship with Richard Jeni

Amy was reportedly with stand-up comedian-actor Richard Jeni at the time and when she Jeni tragically committed suicide by shooting himself in 2007. The once married Amy had bee, at the time, in a longterm relationship with Jeni. She reportedly had been conversing with Jeni just minutes before he committed suicide; she had reportedly went downstairs to to the kitchen area to cook breakfast for them, when she heard gunshots go off; she then found his body in the bedroom of the apartment where Jeni lived; she reportedly called 911 afterwards. Amy previously worked in Televison in Phoenix, WVSN-TV Miami, WKYC-TV in Cleveland and Denver.
