Amy Yasbeck was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was featured on the package art for the Betty Crocker Easy-Bake Oven as a child. In 2000 she was presented with a new Easy-Bake Oven on the show I've Got a Secret for which she was a regular panel member.
Amy Yasbeck has starred in many sitcoms and TV shows, including Days of our Lives, Wings, and My Life on a Stick. She has also been featured in a number of movies, including Dracula: Dead and Loving It, The Mask, and Robin hood: Men In Tights.
Yasbeck is the recent widow of John Ritter, who died while on the set of 8 Simple Rules, a sitcom in which he starred. After his death, Amy filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Many of the defendants chose to settle out of court. The trial for those who did not is set to be in February 2008.
