Anna Chapman is a 28-year-old divorcee with a masters in economics, an online real-estate business, a fancy Financial District apartment and a Victoria’s Secret body. Oh, she's also been accused of espionage against the United States on behalf of Russia (along with 10 other agents that are most likely not as hot as her). She has apparently been passing information to a Russian government official every Wednesday since January 2010. She would allegedly transfer data wirelessly from her laptop to a nearby Russian handler.
Anna was part of a network of operatives until an undercover FBI agent attempted to lure her into an elaborate trap at a Manhattan coffee shop. She was caught at a Starbucks accepting a fake US passport from the agent, who was posing as a Russian operative.
Chapman appeared in a Manhattan federal court along with the 10 others on Monday, June 28, 2010 to answer the charges after the ring was busted. She faced up to 20 years in prison. But Chapman pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to act as an agent of a foreign government without notifying the U.S. Attorney General, and was deported back to Russia on July 8, 2010, as part of the 2010 Russia–United States Prisoner Swap.
Upon returning to Russia Anna provocatively posed for a photo shoot for the Russian magazine Zhara. See the video of the shoot here.
