Antara Biswas

Antara Biswas is an Indian actress of Bengali origin. She starred in movies like Tauba Tauba and Bobby: Lust and Love and is more known by the name Monalisa. She has also acted in several 'B' grade bollywood movies with sex and sleaze.

Antara hails from Gariahat in Kolkata. She studied in Julien Day School and did her BA in Sanskrit from Ashutosh College.

She changed her name to Mona Lisa at the behest of her uncle as it would supposed to bring good luck to her in Bollywood. She acted in Bengali films along with the great actors like Tapas Paul and Prosenjit. She had also acted in Oriya films and did an item number in Dayanayak, a Kannada film.She did couple of films in Bollywood acting in Blackmail starring Ajay Devgan and Sunil Shetty, and Tauba Tauba opposite Laxmikant Berde.
