The kind of guy that's out there is disgusting. They're like sleazeballs. I meet a lot of guys, and I know what's out there. There's nobody.

Ashley Richardson grew up in Sudbury, Massachussetts, the daughter of the proprietors of Bullfinch's Restaurant, where she helped out while growing up.

Richardson was popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s when full "hourglass" figures became popular. She had memorable ad campaigns for Flex Shampoo and Revlon Cosmetics. Richardson also was the focus of John Mellencamp's video for the song "Let It All Hang Out," with as much as 90% of the video being footage of her dancing scantily-clad.

However, she was probably best known for her work in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, which she was in from 1989 through 1993, and 1995, and was the cover model in 1991, credited as "Ashley Montana," due to a brief marriage to Miami night-club owner Paul Montana.

Richardson had a tumultuous relationship with model Brian Buzzini, resulting in her giving birth to a daughter, Daisy, in 1993. During her pregnancy, she worked in her parents restaurant. Afterward, she regained her supermodel figure and was in Sports Illustrated's 1995 Swimsuit Issue, after which she vanished from the spotlight.

At some point during her career, she had a relationship with John F. Kennedy Jr.
