Beth Orton started her musical career collaborating with William Orbit on his Strange Cargo project before releasing her own debut album Superpinkymandy in 1993.
Further work with the Chemical Brothers on their Exit Planet Dust album came before her breakthrough with the Trailer Park album. An interesting mixture of acoustic and electronic songs that found its home in the post Britpop era.
Orton has subsequently released the albums Central Reservation, Daybreaker and Comfort of Strangers.
