Since a young age Brooke Shields has been a constant figure in the public eye. She's acted in just about all mediums and has dated some of the biggest, ahem, stars of our time.

Brooke Shields Life Story

Francis Shields was an executive at Revlon in the 1960's, which means his wife was pretty hot. The equation of Rich Guy + Hot Wife = Attractive Daughter (RG + HW = AD) resulted in Brook Shields. Shields started modeling at a young age, and we're not talking about Osh Kosh, by the time she as 14 she became the youngest model to grace the cover of Vogue. Around this time she also began acting. In 1978 she starred as a child living in brothel in the movie Pretty Baby. Her role in the movie sparked quite a controversy over child pornography. To add more fuel to that flame, in 1980 Shields starred in The Blue Lagoon which included not only gratuitous nudity but also incest. Later on, Shields would actually have to testify before Congress that older body doubles were used for the nude scenes. For her date to her high school prom, Shields took Ted McGinley aka Stan Gable from Revenge of the Nerds.

In 1983, Shields took a break from acting to focus on school. With a bank account the size of Rosie O'Donnel, Shields could choose just about any college she wanted so naturally she went with Princeton. While at Princeton, Shields dated Michael Jackson and Dean Cain. In 1987 she graduated with a degree in French Literature, a degree she's put to use a total of zero times since her graduation.

Following college Shields went on to star in movies like Freaked, which starred Alex Winter AKA Bill from Bill and Ted, and Speed Zone which is the third installment of the Cannonball Run movies. Around this time Shields made a nearly unforgivable move when she dated Michael Bolton. Luckily, the public forgave this mistake and let her back into their hearts. In 1996 Shields began starring on her own sitcom, Suddenly Susan, which lasted until 2000. On the show, which co-starred Judd "Badass Dude from Breakfast Club" Nelson and Kathy Griffin, Shields played a magazine columnist.

Brooke made a minor step up in choice of man and married Andre Agassi in 1997, though they divorced two years later. In 2001 Shields married Chris Henchy, a TV writer, and has since had two kids with him. In 2005, Shields admitted to having postpartum depression and to taking medicine for it. Shortly thereafter, mega-douche Tom Cruise went on a crazy rant chastising her for it. Much to the relief of a worried America, the two made amends. Lately, Shields has been doing stage work and guest spots on TV shows.
