Carol Alt Life Story

Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Carol Alt was a freshman at Hoftstra University when she was discovered waiting tables. Her discovery proved what scientists had long theorized, that hot babes live on Long Island too. She left college to become a model and in 1980 she graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. In 1982 the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue brought her legitimate fame.

Carol Alt Acting

She began her acting career in Italian films where it doesn’t matter if you can act because they dub everything anyway. She parlayed that success into a role on the Hulk Hogan boat show "Thunder in Paradise". Recently she appeared in the critically unclaimed Snakehead Terror and the overlooked Fatal Trust (Amy Jo Johnson).

Carol Alt Spokesperson

She has done a number of commercials and infomercials, usually selling beauty products, but she is also an advocate of raw foods. She has published a number of books on the subject and has endorsed health and fitness legend Jack Lalanne and his products.

In 2008, Carol Alt decided to pose for Playboy Magazine ref As Carol was extremely comfortable with herself and her body, she did not want the photographer to airbrush any of the pictures.
