Cassie Steele is a Filipino/British-Canadian television actress and singer/songwriter best known for portraying Manny Santos on "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and appearing in "Relic Hunter." She also appears in the 2007 MTV movie, Super Sweet 16: The Movie and has had guest roles on the teen dramas "Instant Star" and "The Best Years."
She released her debut album, "How Much for Happy" in 2005 and her second album "Cassie Still" in 2008. Cassie's third album "Destructo Doll" was released in July 2009. In 2010 she joined musician Kara Valorzi in the band Karamel.
Cassie stars the new Canadian TV series called "The L.A Complex." The show focuses on group of young Canadian entertainers as they move to Los Angeles to follow their dreams.
