Charlotte Casiraghi

Charlotte Casaraghi is the granddaughter of actress Grace Kelly and daughter of HSH Princess Caroline of Monaco.

Charlotte was born to Princess Caroline and her second husband, Stefano Casiraghi. She was not given the title of Princess in hopes of granting her less time in the spotlight. At four, her father, an Italian industrialist, was killed in a boating accident. She, along with her older brother, Andrea, and younger brother, Pierre, grew up Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a small French principality ruled over by her grandfather, Prince Rainier. Her mother kept the children shielded from the public eye and Charlotte put all of her focus on schoolwork and horseback riding.

In 1999, Charlotte's mom married Ernst August V, Prince of Hanover and moved the family to Paris. Soon after, her half-sister, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, was born.

Charlotte has continued to remain as private as possible, never giving interviews and, until recently, rarely appearing at large social events. Despite her efforts at remaining anonymous, she is one of the most popular and followed royals among the European set.

Charlotte has dated a number of European bachelors. She dated Felix Winckler, the son of a Brussels-based international attorney, for three years. Most recently she has dated Alex Dellal, the son of millionaire property developer Guy Dellal and Brazilian supermodel Andrea.

Charlotte currently resides in London, where she works for a broadsheet (European tabloid)
