Claire Holt

Claire Holt received a lead role as Emma Gilbert in H2O: Just Add Water during its first and second series as a regular teenager who becomes a mermaid. As part of her work for that program, she appeared alongside her co-stars Phoebe Tonkin and Cariba Heine at the Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards 2007, and has hosted a behind-the-scenes television special for the show.

She has been cast for a role in the American horror film Messengers 2: The Scarecrow, in which she plays Lindsey Rollins. It's been confirmed that the actress will not be in the incoming Season 3 of H2O: Just Add Water because of the film.

In addition to television and movie roles, Claire Holt has been featured in advertisements for Dreamworld, Sizzlers and Queensland Lifesaving.

She has been to a few fanmeetings, including in Paris and had made a few interviews, from which fans may learn about her personal life, childhood and career.

• Graduated Stuartholme (high) School in Toowong, Queensland at the end of 2005.

• Enjoys singing, and was in the school choir.
