Cristina Cynthia Lander Zamora was born in Caracas - Federal District on June 10, 1982 but as little girl her family moved to the United States where they live until age 13 when they returned to Venezuela.

Cynthia was quoted as saying that since age of thirteen she wanted to be a model, but her mother was not keen on the idea. On return to Venezuela and was still insisting that he wanted to be a model. By age of fifteen, and with the permission of her mother, she succeeded in entering into an agency named Tony Paez. She delivered her first parade in a show of the Venezuelan designer Mayela Camacho.

In 1999, participated as a volunteer firefighter at the disaster of Vargas State.

19 years of age taking part in the Miss Venezuela 2001 on behalf of the Capital District. .

Won the Miss Venezuela and represented the country in the following beauty pageants:

• Miss Universe, held in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 29, 2002 where he is listed as the fifth finalist.
• The Reign of Coffee, held in the city of Houston, Texas - United States dated July, 2002 does not get figuration.
• Miss Mesoamerica. Done in the city of Houston, Texas - The United States on Aug. 17, 2002 where he is listed as second runner-up.
• Miss International, held in the city of Tokyo, Japan on August 30 date in 2002 which had no figuration.

Grande crown Miss Venezuela travels to Miami where studio performance with Juan Carlos Wesoloski, makes a commercial with Chayanne and does several parades. When she returned to Venezuela, made a casting at RCTV for "Loco Video Loco." Remained as the cheerleader of the TV spot.
