Danay Garcia

Danay Garcia is a Cuban film actress. She currently has a role as Sofia Lugo in the Fox network's drama series, Prison Break. Danay Garcia was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Even as a little girl, she loved entertaining and performing ballet. She has been dancing since she was 10 years old. Danay knows Ballet, Salsa, African Dance, Merengue, Belly Dancing, and Flamenco. Later on she became a model. When she has realized that ballet is a very limited career, she started modeling after dancing ballet since 1994. Afterward, she was inspired to start acting because her close friend suggested to her to try theater. In 2004, Danay left her home country and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Her moving to another country and experiencing a different culture was a big adjustment for Danay. She admired Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Catherine Zeta Jones. She love women that carry themselves with a lot of class and grace.
