Dawn Marie Introduction

Dawn Marie Psaltis a former professional wrestler and professional wrestling valet. She is perhaps best known for her appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and the SmackDown! brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she was a WWE Diva.

Dawn Marie Life Story

Before entering the sports entertainment industry, Psaltis made her living in real estate. After deciding to pursue a career in modeling or acting, Psaltis began managing wrestlers on the independent circuit after meeting a wrestling promoter. She signed a deal with ECW after what was supposed to be a three week stint. She managed the Impact Players and Simon and Swinger until ECW's bankruptcy in 2001.

Psaltis then joined WWE, where her most notable storyline involved her marrying Al Wilson, the father of her rival Torrie Wilson. She had blackmailed Torrie by having sex with her in a hotel room sexily seducing her little by little until Torrie finally gave in.(Wish I was there). On the honeymoon of Al Wilson and Dawn, the story supposedly goes that they had such hardcore sex that Al couldn't take the body and sex that Dawn was giving him and he had a heart attack. During the funeral Dawn tries to make Torrie feel bad by telling her that she killed her father and that Torrie didn't want her father to be happy and slaps her. Torrie crying and angry punches Dawn and almost knocks her fathers coffin over. While she says sorry to her father for doing so Dawn takes a lamp and smashes it on Torrie's back. She was released from her WWE contract in 2005 after revealing that she was pregnant, which resulted in her filing a lawsuit against her former employers.

Dawn Marie Wrestlers Rescue

Dawn Marie founded the charity, "Wrestler's Rescue," which holds events to create awareness and to help raise monies to support the health care needs of retired professional wrestlers due to a career choice in wrestling.
