Devika Parikh

Devika Parikh (born 3 November 1966) is an American actress of Indian and African-American descent, whose name means "little goddess" in Sanskrit. Born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA, she holds a degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.

Devika has worked in television, advertisements, film, voice work and theatre. She has guest-starred on CBS's Criminal Minds; Disney's That's So Raven; UPN's The Parkers; Bones. She also appears in the feature film Beauty Shop starring Mo'Nique and Kellita Smith.

Devika has had recurring roles on popular television shows such as NBC's Emmy-award winning drama The West Wing; FOX's hit show 24; and Showtime drama series Resurrection Blvd..

Devika has also performed sketch comedy/improvization with groups at the Comedy Store, the Upfront Comedy Theatre and the Underground Improv.
