Emily Schooley

Emily Schooley is an up-and-coming Canadian television and film actress, currently residing in Toronto. She is a rising scream queen, appearing in horror films such as The Witching Hour and Black Eve, and has won awards for her on-screen performances from several independent film festivals, including the Toronto Urban Film Festival. She also does voice work, and recently contributed to Flip's Twisted World, a video game also featuring the voice talents of Anthony Stewart Head.

She rocks the nerd culture - aside from the voice work, she is an invited guest of Polaris, a sci-fi convention in Toronto - and fits in just as well in the Queen West bar scene. She spends weekends dancing til dawn and laying in the sun on Toronto's nude beach, Hanlon's Point.

When she's not in front of a camera, Emily is likely off driving well above the speed limit, and/or dabbling with other crafty or dangerous pursuits. A passionate photographer and urban explorer, she often takes photos of abandoned buildings; and gets into places not a lot of people get to see. Emily has had her photos published in calendars, and exhibited in galleries and coffee shops. And if all of that doesn't keep her active enough, Emily is also an avid writer. In her free time she writes fiction and poetry, and is still perfecting Mirai, a play begun during her travels in Japan. Occasionally, Emily can even be convinced to do some modeling for other photographers.

Currently, Emily resides in Toronto, ON, with her five cats and her two snakes.
