Emily Wynne Hughes is the lead singer for the all-girl group Go Betty Go. She auditioned for American Idol in January 2009.
American Idol wasn't her first brush with fame. Emily first appeared on television in an interview for being a employee on staff at Esther's Hair Salon in Tarzana, California, where Britney Spears shaved her head.
She was arrested in July of 2008 for allegedly driving under the influence in West Hollywood. After a plea deal to a lesser charge of reckless driving, Hughes was ordered to wear a SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) bracelet. She was also ordered to 3 years probation.
