Eva Pigford Life Story

Model and actress Eva Pigford broke records when she won the third season of America's Next Top Model (Tyra Banks). Not only was she the first African American winner, but she was also under the height requirement of 5'7". Her natural beauty and charm made her an overnight success story. Since winning the contest in 2003, Pigford has appeared on the cover of Women's Health and Fitness, Brides Noir and Essence Magazine. Plus, for winning the competition she was featured in a spread of Elle magazine and was signed to the Ford modeling agency.

Before becoming a model, Pigford graduated from the Washington Preparatory High School in Los Angeles and attended Clark Atlanta University in Georgia. She also sold men's clothing a Dillinger's department store before getting the call to appear on America's Next Tope Model.

Aside from modeling, Pigford has set off on a acting career. So far, she has appeared in shows such as Smallville (Kristin Kreuk), Everybody Hates Chris and House of Payne. She met her boyfriend on the set of House of Payne. She hosts the BET shows My Model Looks Better Than Your Model and Rip the Runway. Pigford has also appeared in the first episode of Nick Canon Presents: Wild 'N Out. She has appeared in films such as I Think I Love My Wife with Chris rock and Kerry Washington. She also appears in Crossover with Wayne Brady.
