Evi Hanssen

After a couple of years studying jazz in Antwerp and getting her degree as a singer, Evi got picked up by music television channel TMF. She hosted a show called Boobie Trap (with Elke van Elderen) and covered a bunch of large festivals. She got to interview international artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera , Avril Lavigne...

After that she worked for several other media. She hosted a talk show for national television, was a reporter for a radio show and worked for a sports channel.

Right now, she's working for a commercial television channel in Belgium, hosting mainly reality shows such as The Farm, 71 Degrees North and The Flemish/Dutch version of Survivor.

Know for her gentle character and kindness, Evi is also volunteering for good causes. She's the face of an organisation that trains single mothers to become teachers and a day-care centre, both in Peru.

Before marrying Silverene singer Fred di Bono, Evi was living in with fellow TV personality Roos van Acker. Evi and Fred are expecting their first-born in january 2009.
