Fabiola Gatti is the lead singer and songwriter in British synth-pop band Dream Tribes. She was born and grew up in Punta del Este, Uruguay and moved to London at the age of 15. Her previous band -that she started with friends from high school- was a surf band called The Fabs. Their first single "Surfer Girl" became a cult song for surfers and has been featured in surf festivals and events all around the world.

Career

Fabiola is often noted for her cheeky fun attitude towards the press and is also famous for her songwriting skills - writing hits with her first band The Fabs , her current band Dream Tribes and her j-pop side project The Chi Chis in Japan. Dream Tribes are currently finishing their debut album.

Personal Life

In 2003, Fabiola started dating Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell. Two years later, the couple split but remained friends. In March 2007, Johnny began dating Kirsten Dunst but after just three weeks and despite his declarations of love, he dumped Kirsten as he decided he would rather be with ex-girlfriend Fabiola. He was photographed kissing Fabiola at a London studio a few days later.

Fabiola has also been romantically linked to Panic at the Disco's Brendon Urie, and to MCR Gerard Way, however, she later revealed that they are just friends.

She's now dating MGMT's Andrew Vanwyngarden.
