Fabiola Gatti is the lead singer and songwriter in British synth-pop band Dream Tribes. She was born and grew up in Punta del Este, Uruguay and moved to London at the age of 15. Her previous band -that she started with friends from high school- was a surf band called The Fabs. Their first single "Surfer Girl" became a cult song for surfers and has been featured in surf festivals and events all around the world.

In 2003, Fabiola started dating Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell. Two years later, the couple split but remained friends.
