Gail Porter

Gail Porter is a feisty Scottish television presenter and model. Before becoming a celebrity in the United Kingdom, she worked for a hardware store chain. She broke into TV presenting, aimed towards children and teenagers, in the late 1990s. Shortly after this, she began doing photo shoots for top-selling men's magazines—though not those top shelf ones!

During the election campaign in 1999, as a publicity stunt for one of those magazines, FHM, a naked (but unrevealing) photo of her was projected onto the Houses of Parliament buildings, encouraging people to "Vote Porter".

She married, and had a child with, Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave; but the two separated after a couple of years, in 2004. Gail is now dating Johnny Davies, 25 who is 14 years younger.

Unfortunately for the wee Scottish bombshell, and for her red-blooded fans, she succumbed to alopecia in 2005. This meant that she lost all of her body hair, though the brave lassie refused to wear a wig in order to raise public awareness of alopecia. After talking about the disease frankly, Gail has started to make a recovery and has grown some of her hair back.
