Georgina Cates was once a promising young actress by the name of Clare Woodgate.
With one appearance on the successful BBC TV comedy '2.4 Children' and a part in the British film 'An Awfully Big Adventure,' Woodgate started auditioning for other film parts. However, one unsuccessful audition led her to try again... under an assumed name of Georgina Cates (the 'Cates' part coming from her favourite actress Phoebe Cates).
Unfortunately her efforts appeared ill-founded, as Cates carved a niche for herself in a series of 'B' movies.
A ten year (now dissolved) marriage to Skeet Ulrich seems to be her only highlight to date.
