Introduction
Hayden Panettiere is a sweet American actress who is best known as the cheerleader in the hit show Heroes. Her kind, respectable and clean attitude makes her favorite among the young girls in America who need a female role model that is not a complete whore. She also cries when dolphins get killed, which instantly qualifies her as a saint.
Life Story
Hayden grew up fast in the entertainment business (sorry Hayden but it’s true). While other girls were playing hopscotch and doctor, Hayden was learning the ins and outs of the biz. She was cast in the soap opera "One Life to Live" when she was four years old and stayed on for three years. She appeared in over fifty commercials and lent her voice to one of the characters in A Bug’s Life (1998). Hayden started the new millennium by taking on roles in non-animation movies. Including Remember the Titans (2000) and Joe Somebody (2001) which also starred cutie Julie Bowen. In those days Hayden was cast as the sweet little girl that could melt the audiences hearts, sort of like Dakota Fanning except with nice teeth, and without all the severe annoyance.
But as Hayden grew up, she filled out, and she began to melt hearts for a different reason. So Hollywood quickly found a new way to use her for profit. Hayden auditioned for the role of cheerleader Claire Bennet on the show Heroes, alongside hotties Ali Larter and Tawny Cypress, and made everyone love team spirit again. The show now is in its third season and going by the ratings, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Hayden is also trying to conquer the music scene. She already was nominated for a Grammy in 1999 for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for A Bug's Life Read-Along [2000]. Hayden is currently working on her debut album, which was originally planned for release on May 8, 2007. The album, however, has been pushed back several times and will now be released some time this year.
In 2009 she starred in the comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper and continued her role on Heroes.
Activism
On October 31, 2007, Panettiere joined with Sea Shepherd to try to disrupt the annual dolphin hunt in Taiji, Wakayama, Japan. She was involved in a confrontation between Japanese fishermen and five other surfers from Australia and the United States (including former Home and Away star Isabel Lucas) of the group. The confrontation lasted more than ten minutes before the surfers were forced to return to the beach, after which they left the country. The fishermen consider the condemnation as an attack on their culture.
She's also known for having perhaps the best ass on a white girl since Kate Hudson. This girl has the body of a black girl, and that's a good thing.
