Voted Hottest Female Athlete by ESPN viewers in 2004, Heather Mitts is a professional soccer player for the Philadelphia Charge and a former member of the Women’s Olympic Soccer Team. She also believes in giving something back (to her male fans that is), and has modeled for FHM, the SI swimsuit issue and Playboy.com Pictures
Heather Mitts was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was early in life that she discovered a love for the game of soccer. By the time high school came, she was a standout at St. Ursula Academy in her native Cincinnati. She went on to play at the University of Florida, and became an All-American.
At Florida, Heather lead her team to a national title during her junior year (1998). Since that time, she’s gone professional, and played for the Philadelphia Charge (a team in the Women’s United Soccer Association…Whatever that is). She also played on the US Olympic soccer team in 2004, and won a gold medal. While concurrently pursuing her on-the-field career, Heather has found work modeling, and as a sideline reporter for ESPN2 and ABC’s coverage of Major League Soccer (the men’s league).
On May 12th, 2007, Heather tore her ACL in a game against Canada. We’ve always known the Canadians harbored secret resentments against the US, but hurting one of our hottest athletes is taking it a step too far! That same year, Heather broke off a four-year long relationship with Miami Dolphin’s quarterback A.J. Feeley. She’s since been linked to US tennis star James Blake. Heather aims to spend 2008 getting her career and her dating life back on track... Pay attention men of the US!
Married the aforementioned A. J. Feeley in February of 2010 and can be seen at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
