The daughter of character actor Gawn Grainger, she began her career as Kirsty in "All Quiet On The Preston Front". Since then, she has worked in theatre and TV, in such programmes as "Where The Heart Is", "Sparkhouse", "Waterloo Road", "Johnny & The Bomb", "The Bad Mother's Handbook" and "Dis/Connected". She has recently entered into film with the now-completed "Awaydays" and "The Scouting Book For Boys", which is about to begin filming.
