Jasmine Jonas

Singer Jasmine Jonas was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. Her friends and family say she's a walking United Nations, being Indonesian, Filipino, Mexican, Italian, French and Irish. At the age of 4, she began performing her own musical reviews at family gatherings, and by 8 she was enrolled in acting classes.

Her family left San Francisco when she was 9, and Jasmine began to study music in Hawaii and Seattle. She studied for many years with an eye toward becoming an "Opera Diva", but soon she concluded the world of Opera would prove too creatively restrictive.

She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue her singing and was quickly signed to Columbia Records as a member of the Latin girl group MOVIDA. The band wrote and recorded together for two years, earning a number 11 single on the NAJM Dance Chart along the way.

Currently Jasmine is working on a hosting career, just wrapping up a pilot for an AT&T Wiireless show called "The Find". Jasmine looks forward to taking her career to the next level. The future is bright and Jasmine's eyes are focused squarely on that.
