Introduction

Jayma Mays is an American television and film actress currently starring on the Fox comedy series "Glee."

Life Story

Jayma graduated from the "Grundy Senior High School", later she went on to the Radford University, and graduated with a degree in Performing Arts. In the 2004 she made her first television appearance on "Joey." In the 2005 she made her feature film debut with a supporting role in Red Eye (2005).

Mays' other credits include "House," "Six Feet Under," "The Comeback", "Entourage," "Stacked," "How I Met Your Mother," "Heroes," "Ghost Whisperer" and "Ugly Betty." Jayma was in other movies, such as: Bar Starz (2008), Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and Blind Dating (2006). She also starred in the spoof film Epic Movie (2007) where she met her husband Adam Campbell.

She played characters called "Charlie" on two different TV shows in the 2006-2007 season: a waitress who befriends Hiro in Texas on "Heroes," and the girlfriend of Betty's crush, Henry, on "Ugly Betty." She has played the love interest of a character played by Masi Oka in two different roles: Charlie on Heroes, and Nina in the direct-to-DVD film Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control (2008). She also played two characters named Jennifer in "Entourage" and "Ghost Whisperer." She guest starred on House as a lesbian patient with the bubonic plague. She also played Elsita, who lives and works in a windmill as well as her mother Elsa in episode four of "Pushing Daisies."
