Jennifer Westhoven Biography

Jennifer Westhoven was born in 1971 in New Jersey and has one younger brother. As a girl, she was a member of the Girl Scouts. She graduated high school in 1988 and graduated college with a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

After college, she worked for international news agency Reuters for seven years (1993-2000) before joining CNN in 2000. At CNN, she worked as a financial correspondent for CNN and CNNfn, CNN's former financial news network, covering many stories live on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). She appears regularly with business news updates ("Your Money") on Headline News (HLN) in the mornings and became a member of Robin & Company in 2006. She continued when the show changed to Morning Express with Robin Meade and frequently appears live in the Atlanta studio with Robin Meade.

Her stories have appeared in newspapers around the world, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Financial Times of London.

She was engaged in November, 2006 and married on October 15, 2007 to her husband, Joe.

She allegedly failed her New Jersey driving test because she could not parallel park, but after moving to New York City to work at CNN's New York Headquarters, she has commented that she never needed to drive or own a car anyhow.
