Jeri Kehn (Thompson) is living proof that no matter how old and ugly you are, women will want you if you're either A) Rich, B) Been on TV, or C) In a position of power. Fo rmore on this, keep reading...

Life Story

Jeri L. Kehn was born on September 30, 1966 in Hastings, Nebraska. She grew up in Naperville, Illinois with her mother, Vicki, stepfather, Ron, and a younger sister who remains nameless to this day. She graduated with a degree in English literature in 1988 and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Sweet.

She went on to work as a media consultant for the Washington, D.C. law firm of Verner Liipfert. She also worked for the Republican Senate Conference and the Republican National Committee. Jeri met Fred Dalton Thompson (former United States Senator, lawyer, lobbyist, screen actor, and 2008 U.S. Republican Party presidential candidate), on July 4, 1996. They were married on June 29, 2002. We assume a bunch of stuff happened in her life in between. It was her first marriage and the senator's second. In October 2003, a daughter, Hayden, was born to the couple. A second child, Samuel, was born in November 2006.

According to news reports (aka, rumors), Jeri wields considerable influence within her husband's developing presidential campaign, as a top political adviser. She urged her husband to run as many power-hungry women do. When they married in 2002, she was 35 years old and he was 973. A New York Times article dated July 8, 2007 considered whether the so-called "May-December marriage" could become a campaign issue, noting that "she is not a home wrecker" and is "accomplished in her own right". Thank you New York Times for your insight. While the nation crosses it's proverbial fingers in the hope that this hot chick gets to be our first lady, we're likely to end up with with a less-hot version in the house that George Washington built.
