Beginning at age 11 with a role in A Christmas Carol, Jill made two appearances as a teen on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show after entering the University of California at age 14. Signed to a studio contract, she appeared in a number of forgettable movies before making an impact as bikini-clad Tiffany Case opposite Sean Connery in Diamonds are Forever, which revived the James Bond series after the box office disappointment On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Ironically, OHMSS starred Jill's very close friend George Lazenby, who stayed at her house to recuperate from stardom-lad after walking away from the Bond role. Shrewdly promoting her career, Jill allowed herself to be publicly linked to a number of prominent men, including Dr. Henry "Strangelove" Kissinger. She has been married four times.
