Introduction
Julianna is best known for two things: her role as Nurse Carol Hathaway on the hit show ER, and turning down 27 million dollars to do theater in New York. Definitely a different type of hot, Julianna has classical beauty, which basically means she's hot, but doesn't look slutty.
Life Story
Julianna grew up right outside of New York City and after graduating college, she began studying acting at the prestigious James Price acting Studio, as she worked as a waitress to supplement her income, which doesn't pay as well as stripping, but, like her acting college, is more prestigious.
Ironically, her first movie role was as a prostitute looking to go straight, in the 1994 Steven Seagal film, Out for Justice. Luckily for Julianna, Seagal's acting skills did NOT rub off on her, and shortly after she landed a role on the television pilot ER, with George Clooney. ER became NBC's biggest hit and Julianna's subplot, featuring her relationship with Clooney, the most popular one on the show. She was now a star.
With stardom comes a big payday, and after six years on the show, she was offered 27 million dollars to stay. In a move that shocked everyone in the world who wasn't mentally challenged, Julianna turned down the money to do theater in New York. That proved to be the wrong move. Since, she has starred in miniseries' and guest starred on several t.v. shows, but has not gained the notoriety she once had. Nor the money.
In November of 2007, Julianna married Keith Lieberthal and the couple is expecting their first child.
In 2009 fall line-up Julianna will star in the new show "The Good Wife."
