Junjun

Junjun (born Li Chun on February 11, 1988 in Hunan, China) is a member of the Hello! Project mothership group Morning Musume. Junjun joined the group as an "exchange student" and member of the eighth generation in March of 2007. She will do anything for a banana.

Junjun Career

Junjun began her career in 2006 as a finalist in the Super Girl Contest's Top 50. Though she lost in the end, she and several other runner-ups were contacted by Tsunku, the producer of Morning Musume. Junjun officially joined the group in March 2007. She and another "exchange student", Linlin, are considered part of the eighth generation (which had yielded only one winner in Japan.)

Junjun made her debut in July 2007, on Morning Musume's 34th single, "Onna ni Sachi Are."
