Super model Kate Moss was discovered by a modeling agent at the age of 14 at JFK airport while waiting to return to England with her family. She soon became the waif-like supermodel of the 1990's.

There was much speculation surrounding Moss's weight during this time. Supermodels up until then had been categorized by there curves and Kate Moss was a big change. Her weight even sparked President Bill Clinton's criticism of her heroin chic look at the time. She told online fashion broadcasting company ShowStudio in 2007, "It was just the time. It was a swing from more buxom girls like Cindy Crawford and people were shocked to see what they called a 'waif'. What can you say? How many times can you say 'I'm not anorexic'?”

She is probably best known for her sexy and confusing Calvin Klein Obsession ads. Kate has had campaigns with many fashion designers such as Chanel and Versace. She has been in music videos by The White Stripes and Johnny Cash. Kate also created her own fashion line for the British chain, TopShop.

After a few public relationships, specifically with Johnny Depp and Mario Sorrenti, Moss had a daughter, Lila Grace, with Jefferson Hack (Dazed & Confused editor). She has since had an on again off again relationship with former Libertine's singer/guitarist, Pete Doherty. In 2005/2006, she was involved in a large drug scandal, but was later cleared of all charges.

Moss is currently living in England with her daughter. She is still designing with TopShop and has an underwear line coming out at the end of October.
