Kate Upton

Kate Upton is an American fashion model who shot to fame with her appearance in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. A year later in 2012 she was chosen as the cover model for the SI Swimsuit Issue.

Kate was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and moved to Melbourne, Florida as a young child. She grew up riding horses on her family's large property, lamenting the fact that she was always the shortest girl in her class. After her 15th birthday, Kate shot up to 5' 10" and was ecstatic. Soon she drove down to Miami, walked into a modelling agency and asked, "Who wants to sign me?" Before long she was doing photo shoots for Garage clothing store and Dooney & Bourke fashion accessories.

She then became the face of GUESS? clothing and was featured on billboards that covered Times Square in New York. Kate has also worked for Victoria’s Secret, Beach Bunny swimwear and Jenna Leigh lingerie. With her piercing blue eyes, unbelievable body, and Cindy Crawford–like mole, Kate should be around for years to come.

Kate should not be confused with former Miss Teen South Carolina Caitlin Upton of "like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as," infamy.

Kate made the 2012 Maxim Hot 100 list, coming in at number 39.
