Kerry Washington Introduction
Kerry Washington, the daughter of a successful real estate broker father and a professor and educational consultant mother, is best known for her roles in Ray (2004), The Fantastic Four (2005), and I Think I Love My Wife (2007). One should never take actors' quotes too seriously. Despite the one above, Kerry received good notices for playing a black prostitute in The Dead Girl (2006).
Kerry Washington Life Story
Washington has made a pretty good career for herself by acting along side some of the best actors in the business. She made her screen debut in Magical Make-Over, and was then cast on a PBS sketch comedy-style educational series Standard Deviants (yes, a PBS Comedy?). She climbed the short latter of success by appearing in the short "3D" and the feature film Our Song (2000) before going on to roles in several movies, including Save the Last Dance (2001), The Human Stain (2003), Spike Lee's She Hate Me (2004), Ray (2004), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), I Think I Love My Wife (2007), Little Man (2006), The Last King of Scotland (2006), and Lakeview Terrace (2008). Washington has also appeared in the recurring role Chelina Hall on the ABC television series "Boston Legal," and in several episodes of the A&E cable-TV series "100 Centre Street."
Before becoming an actress she graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., studying social sciences.
Her co-star leading men tend to win Oscars, like Jamie Foxx in Ray and Forest Whitaker in The Last King of Scotland. She joked in a interview that,“It’s just been my ploy to get more work in this town. I tell men, ‘If you hire me, you might get an Oscar!"
She is the new spokeperson for L'Oreal starring in commercials and ads alongside fellow actresses Scarlett Johansson and Eva Longoria Parker, and model Doutzen Kroes. So she will not have wrinkles when she is older.
