Lalaine Introduction

Lalaine Vergara-Paras, or simply Lalaine, is best known for her role as Miranda Sanchez, Lizzie's (Hilary Duff's) best friend, in the hit TV series "Lizzie McGuire" (2001). Currently residing in Los Angeles, Lalaine is about to release a music album.

Lalaine Life Story

Born in Los Angeles, California to Filipino parents, she resided in the Philippines for 5 years in the early 90s.

Lalaine Career

Her first acting role was in the TV movie Borderline. After that she appeared in a few things, most notably "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Trachtenberg, Amber Benson) before her big break came playing Miranda Sanchez, Hilary Duff's quirky best friend on "Lizzie McGuire". After the show ended, she famously told a reporter, "I loved Hilary passionately. She wasn't able to handle how passionate we were together. That will always make me sad." Soon she can be seen on the shelves of your local video store upon the release of Royal Kill (Gail Kim). In addition to her work in America she has appeared on Filipino television and even hosted her own travel show, "Flipside"

She has finished two albums, on which she composed the majority of the songs. The release of her second album, Haunted is still pending.
