Life Story

Born on Marco Island, Florida, Leighton decided she wanted to be an actress after performing in a local production of the Wizard of Oz. But unlike the other 99% of little old girls who want to be actresses, she was good looking enough for it to become a reality.

When she was 11 her family moved to New York and she became a model. At 13 she was cast in an episode of "Law & Order" (Alana De La Garza), but you may remember her from her appearance on the HBO series "Entourage" (Vanessa Angel, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Carla Cugino, Michelle Lombardo, Anna Faris, Monica Keena etc.) In High School she was named in the divorce proceedings of a male teacher, but allegations of an affair were quickly hushed up. Since then she has strung together a nice little career that includes appearances in "Veronica Mars" (Kristen Bell), "Surface" (Lake Bell), "House" and a starring role on "Gossip Girl" (Blake Lively). She is bringing out an electric pop album in the Fall of 2009. Upcoming movies for Leighton include Date Night (2010) with Tina Fey and The Roommate (2010).
