The trouble making, gun-wielding, jailbird, scantily clad, rapper is constantly basking in the limelight. Whether it's because she's involved in a shooting or because she wearing an evening gown that somehow manages to expose 98% of her breast, she's constantly on t.v. and in the media.

Lil' Kim Life Story

At 9 years old, Lil' Kim, struggling in life due to her parents separation, met Christopher B.I.G. Wallace, known to suburban youths across the midwest as Notorious B.I.G. Biggie treated her much like he treated cheeseburgers: with a platonic love and respect.

In 1994, Biggie brought together a group known as Junior M.A.F.I.A. which included Lil' Kim under the alias of "Big Momma," or "The Lieutenant." One thing was clear, both names meant Lil' Kim, though lil', meant business as a rapper. Their debut album reached number 8 on the BillBoard 200, and Junior M.A.F.I.A released an edict that they were to be known as the first family of hip hop, narrowly beating out a press release by then President Bill Clinton, in which he intended to claim that title for his own family.

Kim decided she woudl go solo, and the decision paid off. Her debut album's single "No Time," a duet with business man Puff Daddy, was number 1 for 9 weeks. But, in 1997, Notorious B.I.G was shot and killed, a move that sent Kim in a deep depression. She reemerged in 1998 as The Notorious K.I.M in an effort to pay tribute to Biggie, as well as acronyms. Her career skyrocketed, but on March 17, 2005, Kim was found guilty of conspiracy and perjury for lying about a friends' involvement in a 2001 shooting involving her rival Foxy Brown. During her stay in prison, Kim has said to have written over 200 songs, as well as using the pen in which she wrote to fend off potential attackers.

Kim is currently working on a new album with Swizz Beatz and P. Diddy. This will be her first album since being released from prison. It's reported to be "awesome."

Lil' Kim is currently starring in Dancing With The Stars. In one of the episodes, Kim is seem bouncing around the stage to Jailhouse rock. The very revealing outift almost resulted in another Wardrobe Malfunction
