Lisa Foxx Introduction
Born Lisa Michele Krathwohl on July 28th, 1970, Foxx is currently a Los Angeles-based Radio DJ...currently on Star 101.3-SF, 104.3MYfm-LA & Star 941 San Diego...and had a successful 14 year fun on Star 98.7 KYSR, where she worked with Ryan Seacrest. One day scientists will find out that working with Seacrest is the equivalent of being bitten by one of those Cloverfield spider monsters, and Foxx will be quarantined, then exploded for our safety.
Lisa Foxx Foxx Facts
Born "Lisa Michele Krathwohl", Foxx had to change her last name to 'Foxx' because her one-time boss at Hot 97.7 in San Jose thought it would be a better fit. Today, this is called sexual harassment.
According to her official site, "Yes, after 6 ½ yrs on the radio together and even with his ‘new found fame’, Ryan Seacrest is still my best friend… yes, I am the same in person as I am on the radio…no, ‘Michele’ is not misspelled…my mom wanted the letters to match the # of letters in her first name, Loretta…silly but cute"
These are all answers to the questions Lisa thinks her fans have, but are really only useful as references for sites like Chickipedia.
Her initial plan was to attend Ohlone Jr. College, then transfer to SFSU to get a degree in Broadcast Journalism, but she was offered a full-time job at a station and dropped out after just getting an AA to get that career rolling...
She did on-air shifts at the college radio station, KOHL in Fremont, then moved on to an on-air gig at KDON in the Salina, Santa Cruz area, where she was likely bombarded with requests for Bob Marley music, and had to work promotions with Santa Cruz's endless string of jug-based bands. Then at HOT 977 San Jose, KMEL San Francisco and then onto KYSR & Star 101.3 in SF (live from LA)...is also now on sister station 104.3MYfm-LA & Star 94.1 San Diego...
And then Seacrest came calling, and the rest is history!
